Backstage With Heart: Where Music Unites and Giving Back Leads

At Nugget Events, we don’t just build backstages... we create spaces where music meets meaning. Back to the Beginning wasn’t just a farewell gig for Ozzy Osbourne, it was a landmark moment where music brought together fans, artists, crew, and causes, and every part of the backstage was crafted with purpose.

From the outset, charity was at the core. When Live Nation asked if we’d take on backstage for a metal gig, of course we said yes. But this wasn’t just any gig… it was Back to the Beginning. Black Sabbath. Ozzy Osbourne. One final show. One final bow. And a powerful mission—to raise as much as possible for three charities close to the Osbournes’ hearts.

 

We’re incredibly proud that our backstage experience didn’t just deliver magic on the day, it also raised £116,000 for three phenomenal charities: Acorn Children’s Hospice, Cure Parkinson’s, and Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.​

 

A moment in rock history that felt more like the Live Aid of heavy metal. What followed was twelve weeks of full-throttle planning. The energy was electric. You could feel the weight of history in the air. Nugget Events gave it everything, heart, soul, and just about every ounce of sanity. We’re unbelievably proud of our team, our partners, the incredible brands involved, and everyone who helped make it happen, and helped raise such an extraordinary total for charity. 

 

This was about more than music. It was about legacy, community, and giving back.

Because at Nugget Events, backstage isn’t just a place. It’s a platform for doing good.
